Kindergarten Art & Science Projects — God's Colorful World — Art and Discovery for Little Hands
Students will experiment with water to discover how God made it to flow, splash, and nourish all living things.
Water is one of God's most amazing gifts! We drink it, plants need it to grow, and animals need it to live. God made water so important that He put it almost everywhere on earth.
Water can do surprising things! Some objects float on water and some sink. Heavy things like rocks sink, but light things like leaves and corks float. God designed water to hold things up!
Water can also move through things. If you put the end of a paper towel in water, the water creeps up the towel all by itself! This is how plants drink water from the ground through their roots.
Today we will do fun experiments to see the amazing things water can do!
Fill a bowl with water. Test different objects — a coin, a leaf, a crayon, a cork, a paperclip. Guess first: will it sink or float? Then try it! Next, dip the corner of a paper towel into colored water and watch the color climb up. God made water so amazing!
