Kindergarten Art & Science Projects — God's Colorful World — Art and Discovery for Little Hands
Students will sculpt with clay to understand how God shapes and molds each of us with love and purpose.
The Bible tells us that God is like a potter and we are like clay. A potter takes a lump of clay and carefully shapes it into something beautiful. That is what God does with us!
When we work with clay, we can roll it, press it, pinch it, and shape it into anything we imagine. We can make bowls, animals, flowers, or people!
Just like we shape clay with our hands, God shapes our lives with His love. He has a special plan for each one of us. We are His masterpiece!
Today we will use clay to sculpt something from God's creation. Think about what you want to make!
Take a piece of clay or playdough. Shape it into something from God's creation — a flower, an animal, a person, a tree, or a star. Use your fingers to add details. When you are done, share what you made and why you chose it. Remember: God shapes us just like we shaped our clay!
