During the current beta phase, the platform does not require account creation or personal registration. However, the following information may be collected in the future when full LMS features are activated:

  • Student grade level and subject preferences
  • Contact information provided when reaching out to us directly

Automatically Collected Information

When you use our platform, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • Operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on pages
  • Referring website addresses
  • General geographic location (country/region level only)

Quiz and Progress Data

The platform records quiz scores and lesson completion data. During the current beta period, this data is stored with a default anonymous identifier and is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the educational platform and curriculum
  • To track lesson completion and quiz scores for student progress
  • To improve and expand the curriculum based on usage patterns

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising targeting or commercial profiling.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Standard Bearer Academy is an educational platform designed for children under the supervision of their parents or legal guardians. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

During the current beta phase: No personal information is collected from children. All platform features are accessible without registration or account creation.

When full LMS features are activated: Any collection of personal information from children under 13 will require verifiable parental consent before any data is collected. Parents will have the right to review, modify, and delete their child's information at any time.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your information seriously. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Quiz scores and progress data are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database. Access to this database is restricted and protected.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our platform. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to arriving. We use this information solely to improve our platform.

Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit, not your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
