Finger Painting Creation

Memory Verse "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." — Genesis 1:1

Learning Objective

Students will use finger painting to explore the days of creation and celebrate God as the ultimate Creator.

Lesson Content

God is the greatest artist! He made everything — the sky, the water, the land, the animals, and you! When God made the world, He painted it with beautiful colors.

We can use our fingers to paint just like God painted the world! Blue for the sky and water, green for the grass and trees, yellow for the bright sun.

When we create art, we are being like God! He loves it when we use our hands to make beautiful things. Every color we use reminds us of something wonderful God made.

Hands-On Activity

Dip your fingers in blue, green, and yellow paint. Finger paint the sky, grass, and sun on a big piece of paper. Add any animals or flowers you like! Say 'God made this!' as you paint each part.
